Rhythm
Inspired by the rhythm of life of ancient monasteries, we too have tried to find our own common rhythm. Good relationships are one foundation of our common life – and having time to meet on a regular basis as well as developing common projects help them thrive. As a group of six families, we know these times will not happen regularly if we don't plan them. This is why we have developed a rhythm of life to include the following areas:

times of friendship
regular meals together like conviviums

times of prayer
short evening prayer "Compline" at 10 p.m. in the Chapelle

times of working
Working together in the garden "Ora et labora", monthly event

times of learning
eg Word and Wine, discussion on social and theological topics)

times of celebrating
eg Easter, Pentecost or Thanksgiving, summer festivals

time for family and being alone
In addition to the community, there is also time for family, relaxation and being alone
We have found our rhythm of life to set a pace that is sustainable, giving structure and unity to our lives, which would otherwise often feel hectic and fragmented. Finally, we also look to the church year for inspiration in our weekly and monthly activities.
