A popular element in our rhythm of life is the extended pilgrimage weekend. It usually takes place every two years. This time our Compagnons were also invited. In September 2023, we went on pilgrimage to the heights of the Jura. As a prelude, we visited the oldest monastery in Switzerland in Romainmôtier. An impressive guided tour brought us closer to this place steeped in history. The next day, we set off from different places (St-Cergue and Col du Mollendruz), divided according to gender. The weather was beautiful and hot in late summer, there were many deep conversations during the hike, impulses on spiritual topics, but also times when we walked silently in prayer. But also convivial moments at dinner in the hostel or on the way were part of it. A highlight in our monastery calendar.
